How to replace air mixture sensor?
Hi there,
I would really appreciate if you can tell me where it is located (I guess somewhere on the air intake) and how to replace it. I have 2000 T6 model... Thanks, Majki |

Is it a big round sensor that looks like a hose goes on it?

RE: How to replace air mixture sensor?
I have no idea how it looks like! Somebody put a topic on this web site that when he replaced this sensor, it completely fixed his problem with his engine stalling; He initially cleaned his throttle body (which was not useful, and I agree, cause i did the same, as I have the same problem). The question is also how can i test the sensor if it properly works or not? I have voltmeter and I wonder if this sensor should give certain voltage when tested at different temperatures....
Thanks again... (unfortunatelly i am just guessing here, it coud be thousand things...by the way, can i use injector cleaner to try maybe and fix the problem? My engine stalls only when idling (idling speed is 700 rpm); is there an injector cleaner for turbo vehicles?) |

Yes you can run injector cleaner through the system.
Im not sure if I know which sensor you are talking about. Maybe the Mass Flow sensor? But that usually affects the car totally not just idling. |
