how to start w/o new key programmed
 

Earlier this month I got carjacked. The police have recovered my 2001 s80, but surprise the f****s didn't leave the key when they abandoned my car. The carjackers did have some fun, but it still looks like it could be driven once a tire is replaced. Here's my problem, I am a mother of 5 and I desperately need my car back, but I'm also dirt poor. I cannot afford to get my car out of impound (tow fee even for victims) AND get it reprogrammed for a dang key. I know this is probably a long shot, but it never hurts to ask. Is there any way that I could start this beast without the key, if so, how?

It was worth a shot. I'm just going to recover my kid's carseats and cross my fingers the tools are still in the trunk. Sadly, when they auction off the car if they don't get all their money I'm still on the hook for it. Nashville sure does know how to treat its law abiding citizens.
