Looking to buy my first S80 - Good deal?

So a Lexus dealer near me has a 2004 S80 2.5T AWD with 18k original miles:) MINT condition. Evidently the car was used by a repeat customer's wife, for putting around town and doing errands. The car was traded in for a new lexus RX SUV. Looking to pick this up due to the mileage...Anything I should be weary about? They are asking 14k for it. I was thinking that pretty high even for the mileage... Thoughts?

No, but I would not pay much more than www.NADAGuides.com shows it's worth.

Welcome to the forum.

Personally I wouldn't buy this car. Only 18K miles and a turbo, sounds like sludge.

yikes too much..ya i know it has low miles but i think you are better of with a 2006 year and a bit of high mileage too. That would be a better choice if it was me

Well, NADA said $11,200 is top retail with the low miles. That would be my top offer. I'm not a fan of low mileage cars, mainly because you don't have enough service history.

You can always pull the oil drain plug and inspect for sludge. But if you find the same car with 60,000 miles on it you can likely get it for about $8,000 or less and it should be just as nice. Your call, nice car.
