Default Low Voltage Message

Hi guys,

I started getting low voltage sign on my volvo the other day. The car has died about 2 days later. Since I have never changed battery on my volvo the entire time I have had it, I thought it was time for me to buy a new battery after all these years. Well, I did buy a brand new battery this morning, replaced it and everything seemed OK, but when I drove to a store tonight, I started getting the low voltage message again...
Any ideas what is going on? I spent $160 on the new battery and apparently, the problem is much bigger than the battery itself...
I appreciate anyone's help or insight!!
Jake

That warning is for the alternator, not the battery.

The "Low Voltage" message may came from the old battery data which your Volvo Central module have saved. Volvo requires to reset these old information by their special device after installed a brand new battery.
