my air bag lite is on

Default my air bag lite is on

Hi I need some help here my airbag lite is on and it came on after I removed the drivers seat so I could clean my interior.. Do i have to take it to the dealer to clear the lite and the message on the info center any help will be great

Wow this is my third reply I'm starting to
think I'm a S80 expert,
Short answer Yes, needs a dealer reset.
Had the same issue with wifey's 2000.
Had the seat bolster replaced and came back from
the shop with the airbag light on.
2000 and 2001 have a bag control module
with monitors bags, later on it is through the ECM.
Anyway kiss $60 goodbye.
If you remove the seats, DO NOT TURN ON THE KEY!!!
it will set the light (or so I've been told)

Also dont remove the heater control unit and then turn the key on. It will set off the srs message as well and will need dealer reset.
