New turboooooooos
'99 S80T6
I have 2 Garrett GT32 turbos I pulled off my Dakota. Will these fit with out to much hassle They are GT3271 and have a T3 turbine inlet flange |
Not sure if they will fit or not.
|
yea, those turbos, apart from being ridiculously badass are pretty big...
Surely bigger than the stock one.. |
Yea wasn't sure , Have to pull one for rebuild so I'm gonna pull both stockers and see from there.
|
Sounds like a plan!
|
1. Will they fit? Probably not.
2. Can you make them fit? Anything is possible. 3. How are you going to tune for these turbos? Your not just going to slap them on and use the OEM ECU tune are you? Because that would be a HUGE mistake. |

Because that would be a HUGE mistake. It will get new front mount intercooler, new injectors and whatever else we find that seems like a necessary item to do the "Texas Mile" and on a side note:it's the Ex wifes car and I still work on it for her, I changed the Hubs Yesterday and now I don't wanna see that car again for awhile |
All things considered what is your power aim with the car? How many horses/ how much tq you hoping for...
Your main limitation will eventually become the trans, which will probable disistegrate with anything more than 300 ft/bs of torque! |
