New Volvo S80 T6 project keep or sale?

Hi everyone, I finally picked up the 2000 Volvo S80 T6.
Well I should've been more thorough on looking it over . Never, I repeat never take a person on their word when they are selling a vehicle. But anyway I have a bit of work to do. It was advertised as needing a oil pump. Not the case, upon further inspection found that the crankcase had a lot of gas mixed in with the oil. Changed the oil and put fresh oil in and never saw oil pressure light come on. Other than replacing the autolite spark plugs with Bosch. I guess I have to check for bad injectors and or a pressure control valve. Hopefully no damage was done to the engine. So I'll post the videos of what I did so far.

Congratulations on getting it running. The exhaust leak fix will suck if it`s the manifold gasket. I would say dump it.

I will consider dumping it if it's more than I can handle , I think it's coming from the flex pipe or around the catalytic converter. I'll know more within the next couple of days. Work got interrupted by the nice Pittsburgh weather. Getting it to run was a big accomplishment. It originally was thought it had a bad oil pump , found out that it was just gasoline in the oil . I think the MAF sensor caused the no start problem since it is bad. Anyway thank you for your help.

I'm dumping it.

It was a short lived victory , but all is well.
The engine is shot ( metallic stuff in oil filter)
And it has a blown head gasket. So soon as the title comes in I'm taking the extra parts it came with keeping what I need and selling the rest ( maybe u pull and pay will get it.) I can't save them all.
thanks for the advice.

Worthy try!

Drove this up from LA to Seattle last week. The V8 is amazing. Previous owner kept it under blankets in his garage 67,000 miles

Not a mark on it anywhere

Wow, that's quite a car!

That does look like a fun car to drive. I wish you all the best with it.

Project car may have been a flop but I got parts.

Sad that the project car didn't work out but I got a whole bunch of extra parts. I needed a throttle body, so I figured since the project car was the same year and model ( 2000 Volvo S80 T6 twin turbo) that there shouldn't have a problem. And It didn't give me any trouble at all just plug and play . It rides and idles great. I'll post the video later. But here's a picture of just some of the extras that were included with the car . ( The white car probably needed these things replaced as well that's why they are there) .
P.s. these extras didn't come off either of these cars https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/volvofo...93c3665760.jpg

Took the throttle body off the failed project S80.

Like I said I'm trying to make the best of this bad purchase. So I knew that the throttle body was good on the white Volvo so I decided to give it a shot.
Both cars are identical except for paint. So I figured I had a 50 50 chance. I'll show you the video.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have two turbos for sale . (Right and left side) any reasonable offer will be accepted. They were included with the car as well as some other extras.

I doubt that anyone wants to buy a 20 year old Volvo that isn't running.

It is unfortunate that this turned out to be more than you expected. You might want to consider replacing the head gasket and at least getting the car to a running state.

The car runs, just not very good. It has bottom end damage as well. I was just going to sell the extra parts that came along with it. U pull and pay offered me $410 for the car . So between u pull and pay and what ever I can make on the extra parts. I should break even. Junking that car will ensure that nobody else will be unfortunate to end up with it. Here's a walk around of the daily driver . It has its bugs that still needs to be worked out , but hasn't let me down. So here's the link.
As always thank you for your help.
