overheating 2000 s80T

Have a 2000 s80T, overheating- coolant tank bubbles after60 seconds run.
replaced fan assembly ( with module) same thing.
tested voltage at fan connector- 12 volts both sides in and out. tested black and white wires right at fan- no power.
where is coolant temp sensor located?
hoe this is an easy fix, need to get emissions asap.

would like to find a manual also. cant seem to find a Chilton that covers this year and model.

also where can I buy a code reader for this car. went to O'rielly auto parts. they said their obd1 and 11 will read it. called mfg and said no. sure would like a brand that someone is using.

Thank you guys so much

Bubbling in the coolant reservoir is quite possibly caused by a leaking head gasket.
Get a compression check or a leak down test done asap.
Is any coolant being lost from the system, maybe via the exhaust?
The coolant can be tested for traces of exhaust gases which would also confirm a head gasket problem.
