P1175 & p1237
 

Check engine light is lit up solid, and my obd ii picked up the codes P1175 & P1237.

As far as I can tell I looked it up and it says P1175 is missfire?

and for P1237 is related to the turbo control valve? or could it be a vacuum leak?

P1237 Fuel Pump Secondary Circuit Malfunction"

The user claims fault codes are applicable to all P2 models. Anybody else, please feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

p1237 is the turbo control valve, the other is fuel adaption (caused by the TCV)

turned out to be the control valve and a oxygen sensor O.o,

Any idea why the codes Creepyou quoted were inaccurate? Are there different codes for each car model? Where can we get a list of the correct codes?

Sorry about that. I hate leading someone in the wrong direction. That is why I asked to be corrected because two opinions are generally better than one. Too bad mine was way off. Thanks for jumping in s70_t5_1999. That is a good site and I will be sure to use that.

hey I appreciate the help, but now for some reason two days after driving it the check engine light is on and the code p1175 is back ....

that is a great site the code one, looks like it says fuel adaptation bank 1, which means another 02 sensor i am guessing.

An s60r forum also said the same thing and they claim that it was from VADIS itself. Maybe someone who has VADIS can double check or if there is a page on this site that has cross references, we can look into that.

From the research I have been doing, your o2 sensors could be a problem or it could be the MAF is defective or dirty, or your injectors could be clogging up on you or leaking. Have you changed the oil recently? Could it be contaminated or at too high of a level? (Unlikely) That is all I can find on the issue so far. I'll keep looking and let you know if I find anything more solid.

I am not sure what year your S80 is but I have a 1999 and these are what Amazon has for front and rear o2 sensors right now. I paid $30 more for the front so these are great deals. They seem to fit up to 2004.

EDIT:
This does not mean that I feel it is your O2 sensor over any of the other possibilities. This is in case you decide to buy another sensor, you have a link of OE Bosch sensors at the best prices. From what I have seen, O2 sensors throw a P01xx code, not a P11xx code. Again, I am not as experienced as Tech or the other moderators so if they can pitch in (other members too), it would be great.

i think i can rule out the mass air flow b/c it was done 10~ days ago (replaced). Oil change was done 3000~ mile ago.

Im guessing it was o2 sensors b/c that code came up last time and thats what it turned out to be !..

In addition my Mass air flow piece seems to be not working correctly. Could it go bad with in a month?

turned out to be the engine control module had corrosion on it, and they cleaned it and said if it came back that I would need a replacement. This explained my stalling out randomly, and the intermittant funny type surge he said.
