PCV Oil in Air Hose
 

Hi,

Volvo s80 1999 2.9 Non Turbo with 120,000 Miles on it.

I installed new PCV Box in and now all seems good, no more dip stick smoke, all seems working fine.

But I don't understand why oil coming from PCV box still leaking oil into the Air Hose (Which comes from Air Filter and goes into Throttle body).

PCV oil goes into Air Hose from the small pipe coming from PCV and connect to Air Hose just near to Throttle body.

I am worried, because every time that Air hose becomes dirty, I see idle problems with RPM.

Note: when I disconnect this small hose coming from PCV I seek smoke start coming out of dip stick.

Please advise.
