Price question: Cert 2007 V80 3.2
Hey Guys
I am about to buy a certified S80 3.2 and would like your advice on pricing. I'd REALLY appreciate your help. FYI, here's vehicle & quote info: - Model: 2007 S80 3.2 (Certified/Silver) - Mileage: 17,300 - Option: Only Weather pkg - Dealer: Park Place Volvo (Dallas, TX) - CarFax: Clean one owner (no fleet or rental) - Condition: Perfectly clean (overnight test-drive) - Original internet price: $23,993 - Offer price: $23,563 (KBB/NADA: $25,000) - Final price w/ tax & etc: $25,289 FYI,I am planning to make a down payment of $20,000 and financing the rest. My questions are: #1: Is it good deal with offered pricing, $23,563? (KBB/NADA: $25,000) #2: Should I ask for more? (I only asked for a better price ONCE, and it is the price the sales guy gave me. Approx. $500 less than listing price. I didn't ask more.) #3: Do you recommend this model? (As mid-30 years old guy, I never imagined myself buying Volvo, but now changed after giving it an overnight test drive) Thank you for your help in advance and very excited to become a part of this forum! |
I purchased mine (2007, 16,300 miles last month) Keyless, Winter Pack, for $22,500. I had to haggle with the dealership, but eventually they accepted.
This is a great vehicle. I'm 35 and absoultely love it. |
I would get it either way!
Well I did a quick suggested retail value for this car on http://kbb.com (Kelly Blue Book) and they are saying that this car is worth $24,570. Even though they say it is clean I would have them recheck it, i.e. bumper to bumper inspection. Just in case they missed something. Oh and I would ask for the carfax report. I did not know that my car was in an accident until I paid to get mine. That was the best $30 I have ever spent. Anyway, I would get it either way but if you can haggle down to $22,500 like congoroom did then, I would defiantly get it. Then you would only spend a little bit over the offer price, if my math is correct. Plus the car is still under warranty if something needs to get fixed! Good luck! :D

Thanks.
