Recharging A/C
 

Summer is approaching quickly, and i was just wondering where i would plug the freon in to recharge my a/c.

I would reccomend having a shop do it to make sure it is filled to the proper spec.

What about going to autozone and having them do this? I know if you buy the can of the refrigerant they will put it on a valve and do this? what's your take on that TECH?

I have done A/C recharging on previous cars and had no problem, i am kind of tight on money that is why i figured i would try to save some cash and do it myself. The only thing is i cannot seem to find the damn valve. But if i have to bring it to a shop, then i have to bring it to a shop.

If you really want to do it there is a low pressure valve in the lines like under the power steering bottle on the frame rail. The high pressure one in on the top of the radiator coming through the black support.
