Reset the service light 99 S80 T6
 

I have read other post on resetting the service light. I tried over 20 times. From the other post when it was said in position one the mileage clears. Does it mean the whole windows blank or the trip is back to zero. It made a beep if you held the trip in but nothing else happened. Any suggestions. Thanks.

Some times they are really stubborn.
The trip clears then when the milage comes back let go of the button and see if it cleared.

Also try leaving the window open and door shut lock and unlock with the key then try again to reset.

I ended up just taking my car by the dealership and telling them that I just got done getting an oil change and I need the service light reset. I spend good money there, so they obliged! hahah

I was successful deletinG the service by; TURNING KEY TO FIRST POSITION-PRESSING THE OD.BUTTON AND HOLDING DOWN-TURN KEY TO THE START POSITION- HOLD FOR A FEW SECONDS UNTIL THE SERVICE NEEDED LIGHT FLASHES- LIGHT WILL GO OFF
