S 80 Turn signal turns off during turn?
 

Odd, it works into the turn then turns off and then goes back on when the wheel is straightened. What is up with that? Our dealer closed and the next one is 80 miles away so I could and would appreciate some input here.

I believe that all cars do this so you don't drive down the road with your turn signals on?

Well maybe my description wasn't as clear as it might. The signal starts to blink again as I am beginning to straightening out the wheel and then goes off as it should when the turn is completed.

i hope you don't get pulled over for not signaling!

Figured it out
 

Mechanical and not a software issue. I was relying on my wife's description of the event and it seems she either is not pressing down hard enough or there is a little wearing on the internal parts of the stalk.
So that's about that.
