S80 driver and driver side passenger door controls not working
 

Hi

I've got a 2011 S80, and the controls on both the front and rear driver's side doors stopped working. I can't lock anything from either door, and i can't control any window from the front or the rear window from its controls. I can't adjust mirrors. The passenger side doors work fine, but the front passenger door does not lock either driver's side door. Similarly, the fob won't lock or unlock anything on the drivers side. Fuses are not blown.

It's a short in the wire harness just below the top hinge that you can see when you open the drivers door. Inside of the black rubber cover are wires that activate all of the functions you're having problems with. I recommend you take it to a auto electrical shop for repair.
