S80 OBD Codes
i just got 0422 and 0423 codes on my car. Please help explain what can cause these codes. I know they have to do with the catalyst and O2 sensors. do i ,change the O2 sensor first or the catalyst?

P0422 Main Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1)
P0423 Heated Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank l)
If the ECU reads aprox the same signal from the before and after cat means that the after cat O2 sensor is working, but your cat lost the efficiency. Do you have more than 80 000 miles on the original ( good quality ) cat?? time to change it
