S80 Rubbing Noise Confusion
 

I have a 2000 S80 T6. I ran into the whole motor replace because the former mechanic was clueless. My old motor had this rubbing noise but ran fine til the tension er exploded. i got a motor with 48k miles. i still have this noise even though did a timing job on the new motor to be safe. now this mechanic blew up my ecc unit lol so i did not pay them anything for the job and swapped out the board from one on ebay. the new motor has this rubbing noise you can her when you start it but after 10 miles it goes away. when you drive it for an hour it gets loud. i will post a video when i can. its not the timing belt cover because i removed it 2 times checking not the idler roller had it replaced due to a mechanic saying that is the problem. new motor mount near the timing belt area. everything seems to be working fine so i'm not sure what the problem is. water pump was changed. the second mechanic is afraid to touch this car because they can't find the problem. they lost out on 200 because hey were wrong about the idler roller. If any one can give me ideas on where to look that would be great.
