Service Engine Immediately Message Won't Go Away
 

I have a 2000 S80, that I've recently had the O2 sensor replaced. The Service Engine Immediately light remains on after 3 weeks. I've had the car into the dealers and they tell me that it must be a short somewhere and to ignore it, which I would except for the fact that I'm due formy biannual clean air emission's test and they say that if the ODB is illuminated you'll fail automatically. I've had the vehicle checked and there are no codes present (or readable) in the OBD. So my question is this, is there a way to (temporaily) disable the message panel?
