Speaker on pillar?
 

Does any one know what these are? (see attached pictures)

I think that is a mic for an aftermarket Cell Phone setup.

i suppose that would make sense. I just wish i knew where that wire went to.

Most of the time you can trace the wires to the side of the dash.

I have no idea, my loaner car( 2001 c70 ) had the same thing so thats why i posted it. i didn't know if it was a standard volvo thing.

The plastic thing is standard on most of the cars for holding parking tickets for parking lots and ETC.
