Default Special tool for S80 front shock install?

I have the front shock off the car and I do have spring compressors. I have already removed the top nut and top shock mount. However when trying to remove the top spring perch, I have found it to be impossible. There is this "X" shaped nut that is threaded onto the shock shaft, and I lack any type of wrench that can freaking grip the thing enough. How is this X shaped thing supposed to be removed? Does it require a special tool? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

check IPD.com under shocks and suspension or SPX.com for Volvo specality tools, Just bought a special wrench to take the crank nut off with from SPX. Reasonable price for what I got.

You can take a big socket and cut it. I made a tool then use an impact to loosen it.
Here is a pic of one of them I made.

Were you able to manage to remove that X shaped nut? My friend use to complain this at the shop last week.
