Speedometer calibration 2000 S80-manually
 

Hello all,

basically I need to find a way to manually adjust my speedometer...I have read a few posts indifferent places, and no one has any topics on it...HELP

Speedometer works through the ABS (anti-lock brake) wheel sensors instead of using a separate speed sensor. I'm not aware of a manual adjustment.

basically, i need to adjust my speedometer, because i am pretty sure it is off. is there anyway that someone can explain how to adjust the speed reading on my "speedo"....basically, my reading says i am going slower then i am, and i need to adjust it.

There has to be a speed cable, or someway to do it

It can only be done by the Dealer. It is computer controlled. The computer might be programmed to a different tire size.

Or you're just in denial that the speeding ticket you got is legit...
