Hello everyone, first off great site. My problem is with my STC light, it won't come on, I have replaced the ABS Control Module and made sure everything is connected as it should be, but the STC light will not come on. Also I sometimes get a Transmission Service Required message in the dash..please anyone I am close finding a cliff to drive this thing over it...with me out of it of course.

 

Does it flash if the tires spin?
If you hold the button down for a few seconds does it say in the window it turned off?

 

No, it doesn't do anything, not even a message. I know it is supposed to come on when the car is turned on but nothing.

 

Maybe the rebuilt one you got was for a Non-STC car?

 

Tech, crazy thing yesterday when I came out of the grocery store and started the car the STC light came on and stayed on all the way home,got home turned the car off and it low and behold it wouldn't come back on. I called BBA Reman and they assured me that they gave me the correct ABS Module, at this point I don't know what to do....

 

Very strange I wish I had teh car to go through the systems and see if there was a communication problem somewhere.

 

I wish that too, I guessI'll deal with it for now. Check into it in the near future.
