Transmission going bad?
My s80 t6 seems to have a funky transmission shift, its 107 thousand miles and it has a new timing belt and what not. But now theres 2 sitiuations where i notice it shifting wierd, one would be when rolling 10 mph or that ball park and i step on the gas, not hard maybe 1/4 throttle or a 1/3 and it will rev up and pull me forward just fine and then it kindof within a seocnd or two feels like the transmission slowly goes into gear. Other then this i cant realy notcie the other unless its under full throttle and usualy without traction control when it peaks in first gear in drive it will grind into the next gear... sounds sortof like dog clutches grinding but not as dramatic and i can accualy notice that slightly on snappy downshifts or upshifts i can feel it in the seat that it does it once or twice, i might be anal about it but the full throttle shift does occasionaly have a good 1 second grind and it bothers me alot because the car is in good shape still. So do you guys think that means the tranny is going to go soon? And i might as well ask your opinions on the chassis... i think theres alot of rattles, the sunroof cables streched andit rattles and volvo wants 550 dollars to replace them... the struts have gone bad i replaced them all but they still do sound kindof harsh, not a rattle but it doesnt sound as tight as a bmw or audi would be at 107 thousand miles (i know ive owned them)thanks for the opinions guys, and if it helps its a 2000 t6
