USED CEM, can I reprogram it with VIDA for FOB?
I have a bad CEM and want to replace it. If I grab one from the junkyard, can I reprogram it with VIDA to work with my FOB? Thanks

Only stipulations are: You get one that has the same part number or equivalent working part number that you can get from the dealership on the website Here is an example of how to to look it up... https://usparts.volvocars.com/p/Volv.../30657629.html Below the part is a link "what this fits" It it will give you year make and model it came in ( call the you pull it place near you and ask if they have any of those cars) In my case I pulled one from an 03 XC90 go on offerup look for cem cloning at ain't cheap 150 usd My total 180 the CEM i got for 30 (Holloween sale ;) } Yep that was 2023 So this is a real thing Sir.... Btw you can use Vida to clone your stuff also... (with dice) Which I now have, it cost around the same kind money ... |
you can also have your old CEM rebuilt by XEMODEX
