Vacuum assistance needed

I recently performed some work on my 2000 S80 (non-turbo) to get the ABS module rebuilt. In taking out the airbox to make room to work I of course had to disconnect a vacuum line and some other items. To the point, I don't even recall disconnecting anything at all from the intake manifold yet I have a missing line. I've searched here and also checked VADIS and even in the images there they are inconsistent. I have the larger line under the two smaller vac connections connected to a check valve and a smaller plastic line going to the airbox. Where is the other small line and what should be connected to it? There is definitely a draw on that connection and it probably is missing a connection! Any help is appreciated and thanks in advance!

Anyone?

I went to the greatest source that I know for photos of S80 engines, autotrader. It appears that this port is capped but I am missing the cap.

Would someone be so kind as to confirm this for me?

Thanks.

The small hose you have connected where does it go?
There should be one hose from the top of the aor box lid that goes down to the bottom of the airbox to the cold air inlet valve.

Thanks for taking the time to assist here. Yes, I believe I have the correct routing... I've attached the following picture to reference the routing to the airbox and the cold air inlet. Additionally, I've circled in yellow the questionable connection. I've capped this off as of this evening but is this correct?

If that long black hose is connected to the same area then yes it is supposed to just be capped.

Thanks!

Amazing how different the vehicle runs with that capped - wonder what that did to the gas mileage?

Agreed. I have owned this vehicle for over four years and honestly, I don't recall ever seeing that piece on there; however, it may have been recently and accidentally removed when I removed/replaced the ABS brain... but that was a few months ago and no check engine light!
