Hi... i need to ask if anybody here got any experience in Volvo S80 year 2002.

I'm planning to merge volvo s60r 2004 wiring set complete with B5254T4 Engine and gearbox and merge with S80 year 2002 wiring.

The planning is half set S60R with ECM but ECM wiring maintain using S80 complete until rear.

Any body has done it before? Please share your opinion..

 

that sounds like a fun project. I have not done anything so bold on either of these particular cars, but have done it on other cars. With both wiring diagrams you should be able to get some things to work. You will probably find some that don't. Personally I have always been afraid to try this on cars with anti-theft technology built into the network of computers. It can be done, but I have not ever really tried it.

It was much easier when, for example, heating and air conditioning didn't really share data with the powertrain.
