Window clips and door handles...

Sugar and spice and everything that pisses you off....that's what S80's are made of...Mine anyway.

Ok so here's the dilemma. I have two major issues with my car. A) My car does not fend well in cold weather. Because of freezing in the door, the clips on the regulator snapped again. I would appreciate some instructions on replacing them on my own. When I had the body shop do it they charged me 50 for labor and 10 for the clips. It's not that much but I'm sure I can do it on my own.

Problem number two is a clip in my driverside door broke, so I cannot open it from the outside. I can, although, open it from the inside of my rear left passenger seat. My friend is a volvo mechanic in bridgewater...so he would definitely know how to fix it. Any instructions you can give me would be a HUGE help.

RE: Window clips and door handles...

Which clips on which regulator?

The Handle might have broke or the plastic clip holding the rod. For the door handle.

the blue clips that hold the glass onto the regulator. Luckily, the glass isn't broken. This happened on both front driver and front passenger windows.

They should look like a little wheel.
I think the only place you can get them is from the Dealer.

What kind of work could the door handle potentially need?

Inner or Outer?

The Outer pushes a Peice on the door lock assembly.
The Inside one has a cable running to the Lock assembly.
