2001 Volvo V 40 starting problems
I have a 2001 Volvo V 40 that I’m having issues with right now it will start but then it dies immediately. Sometimes it takes a second to start so what happened was I noticed a leak coming from a pressure fuel pressure regulator that was attached to the hose Coming from the fuel line to to I believe the brake booster was leaking. I then took it off and I went to start the car. It was hot. My car went up in flames got the fire out but now I’ve been having starting issues with it. I will get it to start, but then it dies immediately it won’t stay started for very long. I don’t know what to do or where to go from here. I’m not mechanically inclined for this stuff, but I’m trying to figure it out, please

Hey all, not sure what is up with a friend's car so figured I might find some answers here. The car has intermittent issues starting. When turning the key, the engine will turn over briefly but not start. Try again 2-5 times and the car will eventually start. Runs and drives fine otherwise.
