Hi,
I am looking at a 2003 v40 wagon to buy, 87k, well maintained car of a married couple/friends of mine. might be bale to get it in the 4k range.
Anything I should know about this car? I know after 98 volvos changed and there are lots of issues in the later years, (heard horror stories about 00 and 01's, especially AWD/turbo)
And a mechanic friend said 03 volvos were "junk" and "unfixable."
Those were his words. But this car looks like a great deal to me and low miles. Is there anything I should be looking for or know about it? I would take it to get inspected as well to make sure there is nothing major going on.
