DENSO IRIDIUM SPARK PLUGS
I own a 2000 Volvo V40 1.9T wagon. I am changing the spark plugs and wires and coil packs. I purchased a set of Denso Iridium spark plugs. The local Volvo dealer says NOT to use the plugs. The Magnecor wires and OEM coil packs are fine but they said don't use the plugs. All I have read about Denso is all good. Any feedback about the use of these plugs in my V40? The car has 78K miles and this is the first plug change for the car; yes I know it is way over due, but the car runs great with no misses etc. I am just doing some preventative maint. Thanks to all.
1. They are just trying to get you to buy OEM and buy from them.
2. They don't last as long as the OEM's.
3. With turbocharged Volvo cars I do believe a lot of people have found the Copper plugs worked best.
