How to replace V40 Door checks?
 

Both front doors on my V40 have what my mechanic and I believe to be bad door checks. They make a pop at about a 1/3 of the way and then at full door opening, and a pop or two similarly when closing. Mechanic mentioned I might, or most likely will, have to remove the door panel to replace them. Anyone have instructions on how to replace the door checks, or remove the door panel if that what I've got to do? TIA
