V40 Rear Suspension

Hi, This is my first post on the forum so please forgive any errors I may make. My question is as follows:
I have a Volvo v40 2.0T 2001.My rear suspension is classed as comfort I believe from the research I've done. I will try to keep my story short, but two weeks ago I needed to replace the rear coil springs, but I could not remove the bolts/flange screws so I ground them off and decided to replace the whole strut. Like I said that was two weeks ago and the old bolts have been thrown because I thought I would replace them with new ones when purchasing new struts, not as easy as I thought (at least not in the UK) I can however purchase suitable high tensile flange bolts quite easy my problem is I need to know the size and length of the bolts as accurately as possibly. So my question is does anybody happen to know the size please? I had a quote from an online breakers of £10 + £10 postage a bit steep I thought especially when he didn't answer me about sizes to check first.
Thanks for reading
Al

Hi - just went out and measured mine: The length (excluding the head) is 85mm long. The non-threaded part of the bolt measures 12mm in diameter. So does the outside edge of the threaded part (I think that means it's an M12?). I'm not totally sure on this but I think the thread pitch is 1mm - it's definitely smaller than the pitch on a wheel lug and I know the one I have in hand is 1.25mm. The notation on the head of the bolt says 10.9. Hope that helps.
