2005 V50 T5 crank/cam timing measurements
I have had non starting issues after some head gasket work on the engine and now getting an rpm sensor signal missing from the ECM. Checked wiring, replaced rpm sensor etc and even did the timing over. Still no joy so decided to measure crank vs cam angles. Does anybody know if this looks correct before I have the ECM checked out? Technical info says cam flank1 should be 84+47deg. after tooth gap on flywheel.
I measured with an Arduino so not the best sampling resolution

V50 no start after head gasket.. me too!

What did you determine was the source of your no start issue? Were you able to verify that your timing was in fact correct? I’m currently facing the same scenario that you were, but with the non-turbo version of the 2005 V50 and I’m wondering if I can use your waveform as a reference. Thanks in advance for any update!
