Default V50 1,8injection - diagnose + engine trouble

This is looong story, so this is the short VersionIt startet with misfiring on cyl 4. When idling. During drive, the it seems ok. A diagnose pinpointed the cat, son complete exhaust inc act was changed. No change – same result. The cyl.head was taken off, planned, new valves on cyl 4, new gasket and put together. Still the same. Then 4 new coils. So it was discovered oil consumption of apr. 0,5 liter on a 10 km ride. Again off with cyl. Head, and this time piston in cyl four was taken out. Discovering that slide for the piston rings was damaged. No damage on the cyl. Wall. A new piston and rings was mounted, new gasket and cyl.head replaced. Still the same……. In addition, after putting the engine togheter, the wiper`s run continuously as soon as the ignition is on. Same with Hazard, and the diagnose tool doesn’t seems to come in contact with computer(s) in car.

The last error reading shows the following;

ECM D900Configuration fault. Software fault

ECM-0304Misfire cyl 4. Signal too high

ECM-0354Ignition coil cyl 4. Signal too low

ECM-0204Injector cyl 4. Faulty signal

So, can it be that the engine is ok, but for some reason, something has happened with the engine computer(s).I belive that the only place to start is to sort out the communication trouble, in order to erase the faulty codes, and run a complete engine check.Where to start……
