Default Can't find exhaust parts online

So I recently took my car to the mechanic. Long story short I need a whole new exhaust. I have a 2005 Volvo v50 t5 2.5l turbo. I can't find jack for it. Any websites I go to they don't have parts. Do any of the 2.4l parts fit or am I just not finding it. Do they not make the parts anymore?

You probably don't need a whole exhaust - Volvo's mufflers and long pipes last a very long time unless you had a broken hanger which mechanically broke the pipe. If so any shop can weld that up. Most common fail point is the flex pipe or the catalytic converter. Do you know which part needs replacing? use the diagram and then google for that part number to find a supplier who'll ship

Unfortunately I do need a whole new exhaust. The previous owner of the car essentially never washed the under side of the car and most of the exhaust has rusted really badly. I need a new cat, muffler and resonator. And my car has a turbo.

exterior rust is ok, its when the pipe is perforated that its time to replace. I'm somewhat surprised - I've owned a 95 850T and 2000 S40 from new here in salty New England and only had to replace flex pipes on both. At any rate, use the Tasca diagrams to find your parts - you can use them to search ebay/Amazon or the web for after market or OEM

Thanks. I love in New England too. And there some decent sized holes. The hard part is finding anything aftermarket. I'ma college kid on a budget and all I've found for catalytic converters is this https://www.carid.com/2005-volvo-v50...842249628.html but I can't honestly tell if that is right.

FCP has everything listed for your car. Not going to find much after market for it.

for budget repairs you may find a muffler shop that can bend up replacements for the long pipes (assumes the muffler/resonator boxes are still functional or go used (car-part.com can help find a yard within driving distance or try Craigslist for somebody parting out).
