New Winter wheels for V50
Hi all, wonder if the "Mannan" 7 x 17" wheels will fit my 2006 V50 2.0D(link bellow), planning running them on a 205/50 winter tyres, done a lot of research online and couldn't find a reason that these wouldn't fit.
I'm currently running on 18" Medusa wheels tyre 215/45/18.

Trying to change to these ones and 205/50/17 winter tyres:

Some research:
https://www.wheel-size.com/calc/?whe...cl=50mm&sr=0mm
If someone could share some knowledge on this it would be great.

I can't see where they wouldn't work - the offset and size seems OK at a glance. I'm a little off-put by the fact that the link doesn't list the center bore or even the bolt pattern, though I suspect it's probably right given the Volvo connection.
Of course, the new winter tires will be shorter by about 2% (figure 7mm closer to the asphalt). Maybe not really a feature with a winter tire, but probably not a big deal either.

Good to know - then the smaller offset will just put the (already smaller) tires further inside the fenderwells than the summer wheels/tires. But I suspect that's more of a feature than a problem.
I just walked in from the garage, where I swapped out a set of 30mm wheel spacers for a set of 25mm spacers because of contact between the fender lip and the tire sidewall (barely - but a little is too much). I really like the look of a tire that's sitting "just right" in the fenderwell, though I'd be OK with it sitting a bit inside the lip on a winter tire.
Late edit - just took some photos of the car, and wanted to update what I found about spacers.
I put 5mm spacers on the front and the studs were ALMOST too short. I could get just over 3 full turns on them, which didn't make me too comfortable (though I know that's really pretty strong - but there's NOT a lot of margin there). I considered pressing in some longer studs, but in the end just found some different lug nuts. The Volvo nut threading starts WAY up inside the nut, where the ones I bought start a few mm lower, so I get 6-7 full turns (more than enough).
On the back, I tried 32mm spacers, but the (wider) tires I was running would rub on big bumps... not a good thing. So I put on a set of 25mm spacers, and they fit JUST right (IMHO).
Really like the look of the (cheap) upgrade - a car just doesn't look right unless those wheels and tires are sitting JUST where they should be...
