Hi all,
I wounder if you can help me out? I have a V50 which has had a few issues of late regarding the CEM. I put a diagnostics OBDII connector on to the car to read the error codes but it is not able to as it says there is no connection with the SWM? I heard this might happen if the wiring loom is damaged because of the steering wheel airbag being deployed and burning the loom, any ideas? Thx Dom

 

It is more likely that your code reader is not compatible with the car. The car is CAN but the CAN compatible readers at Advance Auto Parts give me the same message.

I know that there are readers out there that work with our cars. This topic comes up ofter. Try doing a search here, or Swedespeed.com or Volvospeed.com.
