V50 Power Windows
Hi I have a 2009 V50 and the drivers power window stopped working automatically. If I wanted to lower the window fully I needed to hold the switch down til the window had finished lowering and needed hold up to wind up fully, If i let go of the switch the window would stop. This was only on the drivers window only and I had found a resolution. I had just had my car in having the Cat Con replaced and when I got it back I instantly noticed my window would not automatically lower with a quick press on the switch. it just went down an inch and stopped.
Well if you turn your ignition to accessories and press the window switch down lowering the window completely and then hold it down for 5 seconds after it has finished lowering and then immediately lift the switch till the window fully closes and hold for another 5 seconds this fixes it. I reckon there is a feature that make the windows non-auto by holding thew switch up for 5 seconds after closing. Ive just posted this cause it took ages to work this out and I was **** scared I was going to have to go back to the pricey dealership to get it fixed. This forum has helped me alot so hopefully this will help someone else.
