I like the styling and feel of the V50. I looked at a few used ones and have been very tempted to buy one. We have a '03 V70 that has been very reliable with the exception of an instrument cluster in need of replacement.

How do the V-50's fare in terms of reliability? Are some years better than others?

I bought a 2005 V50 T5 AWD a few months ago - I've put 7,000 miles on it since October. Absolutely no problems whatsoever - they were known to have many, many electrical glitches back in the day, but I suppose that by now, they all have been upgraded / fixed by the original owner within the first year or two. It's a joy to drive. I love it!
