Volvo V50 Oil leak between engine and transmission
Hello,
I have a Volvo V50, 2005 2.0 l Diesel. Today I saw that there is an oil leak between engine and the transmission. What could be the possible reasons for it? How costly could be the fixing?
Thank you in advance.

Hi Dipen,
(if it is engine oil and not transmission oil)
I drive V50, 2008 1.6L Diesel and have oil everywhere in small quantities. But never need to add oil, as the oil level is not decreasing. Just natural old diesel problems.
If the oil level is not decreasing after ~1000 km, just ignore it. But keep watch on the oil level regularly. (as you should do it anyway)
For pricing, you first need to diagnose the problem at your local service and then ask couple services for an estimated price. As pricing may vary by country, labor cost, replacement part cost, etc...
