1989 V70 Fuel Filter Replace
 

How do I replace the fuel filter on my 1998 V70GLT I bought a Fram filter and dont see how to remove the fuel lines?? Please help!

i was told you need a special tool. I have the filter as well but have not gone around to putting it in yet.

You can carefully slide a pair of needle nose pliers between the lines and filter and try prying the line off. As long as the coupler is slide back some the line will slide right off.

Be careful though and do just what tech said. I pulled my filter too hard once and ruined the line from the tank to the filter and ended up replacing that line. Just hold the filter and pry the line off.
