Default 1999 V70 difficult to start

My 1999 V70 has had a tough time firing lately. For the last 3 months or so every time I start the car it takes it a while before it fires up. It always fires at some point, but every now and then it also stalls for a second while trying to start. Almost like it's hitting a bad spot on the fly wheel or something. I know that's not the case but that's they symptom. I don't know if the two are related or or not but the "service" light also stays on for about 2 minutes after starting... then goes out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No, service light is telling you that it is time to change oil and filter.
''Hard start'' could be caused by many things... in my case it was bad fuel pressure regulator
