I do not have keyless entry for my V70. Is it possible to add one?
If yes, what should I do and what would the cost.

Yes you should be able to add it but I believe it will be like $300.00 or so.
You should just be able to buy and remote and have it programmed at the Dealer.

Tech, new to the forum. Quick related question. Bought a 99 V70 AWD Cross Country with only one key. It has keyless entry and alarm but we got no remotes with the car. Visited local dealer for replacement and they said it would be nearly $300after programming. I asked if I had a remote if they could program it (it had seen many on ebay)and the answer was "yes". Bought one cheap and took it to the dealer. Now they say they can't program that remote (correct part number) without a PIN. Can you confirm? Is there a way around this that doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

 

They get the pin out of the computer system.
They need the pin to access the car to program the remote.

you ccan order new keyless remote with 16 digit code OEM around $75 and have dealer program.

 

I paid $59 for one at keylessride.com for my wifes 98 V70...took it to a Volvo shop and they program it for nothing....
