Looking for why you love/hate your V70. I have had an awful experience with the S60 (comments in New Member Area) and may finally abandon Volvo because of my impression on its current focus (or lack thereof). The V70 is the only other model I may consider for redemption, but need to ponder this decision awhile. I would be interested especially in those people with a long history with Volvo to get their impressions on the how the V70 has evolved from its first generation, and even earlier. I.e. what is better/worse?

 

just bought my first volvo a v-70 2.4asr,the first thing that caught my attention was the high quality of fit/finish and the quality of materials used in and out. and than you take it for a ride, wow!!! at 3400+lbs the ride is sweet and so is the fuel economy(34mpg highway first tankful!]Test drove mercedes c-240 wagon,vw passat wagon,saab wagon and the volvo came out on top imho!</P>
