Car blowing the #6 central locking fuse

So my wife parked the car last night (it's a 98' V70 GLT) and pushed the keyless entry button to lock the door and nothing happened. We go to try and drive the car later that night and the car won't start (no crank) It was dark so I just said screw it, I'll look at it later. So today after I get home from work, I start checking fuses and the #6 central locking fuse is blown. I replace the fuse and the car starts up just fine. Shut the car off and try to lock it with the key FOB again and it blows the fuse. Long story short, the fuse will blow with the FOB, with the key in the door (trying to lock), and with the internal door lock switch. The only way to lock the car is if I push down the button manually. So what do you think it is? bad switch, bad soleniod, bad wiring somewhere. Is this a common thing with these cars?

RE: Car blowing the #6 central locking fuse

It is not common to blow the fuse.
Might be a bad door lock assembly. (common)

My daughters 1998 S70 GLT has the same issue. Was there a resolution to this problem? It is raining today and it is happening evertime she stops the car now (prior to that it was only every few weeks). I would think this is an exposed connector or wire that is shorting with the moisture.
