Default Connections under passenger seat - what are they for?

I was looking under the seats this weekend and saw some connections - now i'm wondering what they're for. There's also a connection under the ashtray in front of the shifter **** that may be related, maybe not. It's not the OBDII connection as that is in the center console/armrest.. the car is a 1999 V70 GLT NA

The ones under the seat should be for the power seats and seat heatersyours migth have manual.

The other plug under the ashtray is for the seat heater switch.

the passenger seat is manual - are all seats wired for heated seats? IF this seat has a heater in it, i take it that the connections would be connected to some sort of an element? Can the seat heaters be bought or are they built in to the seat?

Darn - secretly i was hoping this was connections for a CD changer LOL

No the seats don not come with the elements.
You would have to buy and install.
