a few niggles i need to sort
 

hi guys

i need some help
just picked up a 98 volvo v70 tdi today and love it but a few problems :(

1) the remote locking doesnt work... what could this be and how to fix
2) the heating/air con doesnt work... when you star the car, it comes on, and goes off after 3 seconds and thats it

3) the radio just says off...nothing else works on it
4) the beam pattern of the headlights SUCK!! might as well use candles!!

thats it for today. will give it a good looking over and see what else i can find

1. Is the battery in the remote dead?

2. Blower motor and/or resistor might be bad.

3. To get the radio back to code you need to leave it sit in the first key position for up to 3 hours and wait for it to say code. Then call local Dealer and have them give you the code for the radio. You might have to go there in person though.

4. Maybe you can adjust the position to make it light the road better.
