I'm preparing to install a backup camera on our 2000 V70 XC. The camera itself is going to have to be at the bottom of the plate, given where items on the plate are shown.

If anyone has had any experience in mounting one of these on a V70 XC, I'd appreciate any input about where (& how) the wire was mounted, where the wireless unit is mounted etc, so as to not cause any leaks or cause other problems. Just took a glance at it tonight and it's not very obvious (to me) where I ought to try to mount the camera. I'd like to use it on the license plate, but am open to suggestions on another location.

The camera is a Peak performance camera.

Mount it at the top. run the wire out thru the plate light area.
