Interior Lighting
 

I am the new owner of a 1998 V70 (Basic)I purchased from the original owner. My question is regarding lighting:

** Within the ashtray area, I see what looks like a light, I pulled it apart to find it empty. Wondering if this was an option or I just didn't look hard enough, as I did this while on my lunch break.

** Does the Rear Defrost/Heated Mirror button light up (not counting the orange bar when turned on) when the lights are turned on?

** Does the Traction Control button light up when the lights are turned on?

I am assuming YES to the last two, but thought I'd ask prior to replacing them

As an added note, this is a create SITE! I have fixed the rear tail gate and replace my radio bulbs based on my findings on the site! Thanks to all!

Welcome to the Forum Don. I have a 98 V70 at home and will check the lights you are asking about when I get home. Don't know the answers off the top of my head. I know these little lights burn out quite frequently on these cars. I think almost all mine work on the V70 though.

I'm going to move this to the V70 forum. Probably get more response there.

My ash tray lights up and so does my defrost. My Tracs doesn't, but I bet it's supposed to.

My tracs switch does light up as does my ash tray and seat warmer switches.

Thanks Guys!This moring I fixed the Ash Tray light! I will work replacing the two switches! I also replaced the LEFT and RIGHT Door Latches... Would have done some others things.. But the PATRIOTS are starting! GO PATS!
