RE: Internal temp problem
If the car is fitted with the Electronic Climate Control system then there is a passenger compartment temperature sensor. It sits behind a louvred panel on the dash,to the left of the ECC panel.
To get to it: Ignition off. Remove the radio. Put your hand through the radio compartment and push out the ECC module. Now put your hand through the ECC module opening and push out the switch next to the louvred panel. Again working through the ECC module opening press together the catches holding the temp sensor in place and pull it backwards. Note the position of the sensor before you remove it. Disconnect the sensor. Refitting is a reversal of the above. You will need to check if any diagnostic trouble codes have been stored during the repair work. |
